The new series is called Games People Play. The heroes are mysterious, in-the-shadow types who share a bond. They all met as angry young men and with the help of a mentor redirected their frustration in more productive ways. The heroines are tough – absolute survivors – and the first two are in hiding. Each book has a cold case component.
In THE FIXER (out late Dec 2016), the heroine’s cousin disappeared as a teen and the heroine has spent her life trying to find her. The last trail she finds leads straight to the hero.
In THE ENFORCER (out late April 2017), the heroine survived an attack in college that left others dead. Now, years later, the hero comes looking for answers about his brother, one who didn’t make it out alive, convinced the heroine isn’t as innocent as she acts.
The books are character-driven. No explosions. No undercover operatives. Still sexy, with some moments of humor and a sense of danger. I hope you’ll try them!
