Don’t Get It

This book sale was listed in Publishers Lunch over the weekend:

Tao Lin’s EEEEE EEE EEEE, in which confused but intelligent animals attempt to interact with confused but intelligent humans, resulting in the death of Elijah Wood, Salman Rushdie, and Wong Kar-Wai; the destruction of a Domino’s Pizza pizza-delivery car in Orlando; and a vegan dinner at a sushi restaurant in Manhattan attended by a dolphin, a bear, a moose, an alien, three humans, and the President of the United States of America, who lectures on the arbitrary nature of consciousness, truth, and the universe before getting drunk and playing poker, to Dennis Loy Johnson at Melville House, in a nice deal (World).

Whuh?

For those wanting to know more, Tao Lin’s blog is called Reader of Depressing Books. Here are the covers for his two upcoming books, Bed and Eeeee Eee Eeee .

I have no answers. Go look for yourself.

Tao is a very good writer — funny, odd and interesting — and I trust that this will be good stuff. He’s exceptionally original.
