First, Congrats to Shelly Leatham from Timberlake, NC for winning my February website contest. Wahooo!
Second, the Brava Novella Contest is back!!!! Let’s take a second and think about that…
Yes, Lori Foster has moved on, but the contest is alive and well. The Brava authors are stepping in and judging. The finalists go to Brava editor Kate Duffy. So, this is your chance to get your work in front of an editor. Really, this is an amazing opportunity. Many writers got their start with Brava thanks to this contest – me, Sylvia Day, Susanna Carr, Jordan Summers, LuAnn McLane, Janice Maynard, Erin McCarthy and many, many more. Others finaled and went on to publish other than with Brava – Larissa Ione, Cathryn Fox, Jacki Frank and others.
This year there is a theme – reunited lovers. The rest works the same. You get 750 words, but you have plenty of time to come up with them. We’re announcing this contest early. Entries can’t even be turned in until August 1st so you have all summer to obsess….errr, plan. Here is the Contest Forum. Go check it out. Good luck!!
