Oh, I loved the first Sophie Katz book, which I just read this year. You've reminded me I need to order the next one in the series.

Robin - Congrats on the writing!!

Hi Lucie - I love the graphic on your website. The "Nice to Naughty" made me smile.

Robin - I'm happy to know my dog is not the only one. But, really, would it kill her to eat the books I hate...?

Rachael - I did like the book, but I prefer the first one in this series to the others. The first was just so fresh and the voice so vibrant. It's hard to sustain that through three books, not because of Davis but because I now have expectations about the voice (ie, it's no longer as "fresh" since I've read it three times now). Other than that, Sophie works for me on just about every level. She's funny and smart and rings true to me. Now, I do fear she's going to start having a Murder She Wrote issue where everyone she knows either dies or is a killer, but I'm willing to go along for a few more books. And, Anatoly just charms me. Has from the first book.

Don't you just love those titles? With the word chocolate in it, it must be sinfully good. *G*

As for your dog only eating the books you love, that's normal as far as I can tell. Every pet I've had has been like that. My sister has a dog that ate one of my books that I had loaned her - before she even got to read it. LOL
