Kate And Kindle

Kensington editor Kate Duffy (who happens to be my editor) is blogging over at the Brava Blog today. The topic is the kindle. This is Amazon’s wireless reading device. One of the benefits, I think, is that the screen looks like actual reading pages instead of like a screen you’d see on your word processing program on your computer. It’s a bit expensive and I’m a hold-the-book person, so I haven’t tried the kindle. Anyone else give it a try yet?

If it was $150 or less I would try it as a supplement to my books. I really like holding my book.

I haven’t tried the Kindle yet. It looks great and I think I would unjoy using it but the price is just to high for me to consider purchasing it just yet.

I agree with the other comments - I love holding books. A lot of the amazon reviews also had negative things to say. Who knows, maybe they’ll come out with a newer version that fixes those “bugs” - and hopefully a cheaper model! ;)
