   For me, it’s when I see a cover and wonder what year the model(s) graduated from high school–2006 or 2007?

   My 17-year-old has a tattoo. He wants another one. I don’t understand the appeal myself. His is nice now, but what will it look like in twenty years?

   Tattoos are very “in” with young men these days, so at least the covers are up-to-date.

   I’ve wondered the same thing, but more often think how nice those big, buff chests would look if they had some hair on them. I don’t like the baby-butt smooth look - that’s not what comes to my mind when I think of an adult man.

   Tattoos are so popular now. Funny they weren’t so mainstream when I got mine in college. I only knew one person with a tattoo when I got mine, now I see multiple tattoos on people daily.

   I agree with Laurie, I like a manly looking chest. Some hair would be nice. Or even a chest that is over 30, 40? LOL

   I don’t mind tattoos at all, as long as the person doesn’t look like a roadmap. And I agree I want to see the chest of a man past the age of 30 with a bit of chest hair. Someone not too skinny but not too bulky either. I’m not looking for teen boys or a recruit from Wrestlemania here.

   You know, I like the tattoos on the covers and in the books. In real life…not so much. I never gave it much thought until you brought it up, HelenKay.

   Male models that look like boys, not men, make me feel old.

   I have specific specs for male chests: Tats or not, still hot. Hair or bare, OK there. Protruding pecs, or a six pack in perpetual flex = do not want.

   Watched Miami Ink last night. Gorgeous work, real art, and I respect and admire those who go that way. But for me? Let’s just say if I’d gotten a rosebud tattoo in my 20s, it would be a long-stemmed rose by now. I can’t think of a body part that would withstand the “stretch” of time…

   A discreetly sized & placed tattoo on a man is be a turn-on—something that doesn’t show unless he’s half-naked— but not so that he looked like a walking cartoon. I like a bare chest, though.

   Though there is Oded Fehr in “The Mummy” with his tribal tattoos on his face— I could make an exception there—
