BEA – The Aftermath

Spent the day at BEA (Book Expo) in LA yesterday. Had a very nice time. The ladies running the RWA booth were fabulous. Everything went so smoothly. I was able to go in, sit down, sign all my books and leave. Thanks to the RWA ladies and to all who stopped by to say hello and pick up a copy of RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW. I loved seeing everyone.

While at BEA, I chatted with the folks from Kensington. The Kensington booth – which was really more like a comfy living room set-up – was amazing. It even had copies of YOUR MOUTH DRIVES ME CRAZY – wahoo!

Also said hello to the lovely and talented Gena Showalter and met her Harlequin editor, Tracy Farrell, who happened to be trained by my editor, Kate Duffy. Checked in with the Mystery Writers of America and felt very welcome. And…I picked up some books. Here are some highlights from my haul:

Cool, huh?

Very cool. I enjoyed Enchanting the Lady. And that Handeland looks good.

I am trying to read Gena’s first Lords of the Underworld book, but I’m not digging it so far. But I seem to be in the minority.

I read Alibi in High Heels and loved it. I bought ALL of the rest of Gemma’s books after that. She’s great. Still haven’t had the chance to read them yet but she’s definetely a great writer.
