Where I’m Not

This is just the most fabulous summer photo ever:

It’s a pool in Penglai in Sichuan, western China.

And…wow. Just, wow.

    That is definitely ‘wow’. I would be freaking out if I were anywhere near that pool. It’s just way too many people for me not to feel claustrophic, especially when there’s water involved. I don’t mind swimming pools, as long as there aren’t that many people crammed in them.

    Makes sense, considering China’s population. Possibly/probably more depending on where that is (too lazy to google it and can never remember my Chinese geography.)
    I would NOT like that, however. Not at all.

    Who actually thought of making a pool this size? and amazingly it doesn’t seem enough ;-)

    i rather swim in sand than that, im very very clausphobitc (not sure how to spell that) whew i nearly have a panic ataack just looking at that

    I’m not big on crowds, so I’d probably give this place a pass and play in my bathtub instead.

    As an aside…. just imagine the pee to water ratio.

    Yeah. I went there.
