A Twitter Warning

For the twittering among you…

I’ve been playing around on Twitter. Still don’t quite know what it is, but it gives me a chance to throw out random thoughts about things I wouldn’t talk about here. Basically, I’m more snide and talk (twitter) about whatever is in my head, which right now is often politics. I know this is a touchy subject. That’s why I keep those thoughts to chats with the hubby, twittering and frantic emailing to close friends.

Just wanted to give a warning in case there are people following me there who are offended by the political talk. If you are then stick to the blog - at least until November 5th. I won’t play partisan politics here. Otherwise, if it pops into my head and the twitter screen is open, I’m probably going to put it out there on twitter. No offense meant to anyone…except the person I am making fun of at that moment.

I was thinking of doing a similar warning, because I talk a lot of politics on Twitter, and I wouldn’t do that anywhere else. I did make my updates “private” so you have to be following me to see them, so I at least know who might be getting offended :P

I’m still trying to get used to Twitter and haven’t actually read much there. Politics is always a hot subject, but I think it’s interesting to see other people’s viewpoints as long as they’re not being shoved down my throad. lol

I Twitter but I admit I’m not quite as addicted to it yet. Didn’t Twitter all weekend. I agree with Karin, as long as people aren’t harping on one subject and getting too caught up in their opinions, I’m okay with whatever anyone wants to say about politics. Twit away.

You definitely will not see me on Twitter! I have an aversion to talking politics
with anyone other than my husband. We’ve been married for 47 years and we
understand each other’s thinking. We don’t always agree, but we do get
    and respect each other’s opinions.
