Old Favorite
Sasha mentioned re-reading Karen Robards’ ONE SUMMER. This is one of my all-time favorite romances. Hero Johnny Harris is a felon out on parole and, well, let’s just say this book totally worked for me. Thought I’d go ahead and highlight it here in case anyone missed it.

I’d never heard of it before, but it definitely sounds fantastic. Even just that blurb had me itching to get my hands on a copy so I could read it and find out just who the killer is and why s/he was bent on framing Johnny.

OMG! This is one of best romances EVER!!! I have a review on my web site (favorites page). Most touching happily ever after, hands down.

I see I’m not alone! Johnny Harris is just about the best bad boy ever. That first scene when they’re together and he pulls her off the sofa? Best. Scene. Ever.
Yep. Definitely need to go re-read this one.

OMG, yes, I adored this book! I was on a huge KR kick about 10 or so years ago, and this one definitely makes the cut. It’s definitely one of my keepers. Gosh, I need to find my copy now.

I love Karen Robards…but ONE SUMMER is a definite comfort read..and I thoroughly enjoyed re-reading it the other day.

I used to be an avid reader of Ms. Robards books. I’m not sure why I stopped. I need to get this one.
