I just got back from RWA’s national conference in DC. Had much fun and enjoyed seeing everyone. I roomed with fabulous fellow author Jill Shalvis. We only knew each other from online before we got there. Now I feel like I’ve known her for years. We had a great time. Of course, the hotel was overbooked and we ended up with a suite. Amazing how much easier it is to have a great time in a suite.
I’m crushed on a deadline at the moment, but I thought I’d fill you in on some of my book haul:
-Only book I bought at the literacy singing: RELENTLESS by Lauren Dane. I like Lauren’s online presence and thought she was just as cool in person. Everyone raves about her books, so I got a signed copy. Yay! In case you’re wondering, it looks like this:

-Book I’m most excited about from the goodie bag: TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE by Kristan Higgins. Everyone loves this author, so I thought it was about time to give her a try.
-Book I grabbed from the goodie room: OUTCAST by Joan Johnston. Dear Author gave this a strong review. And did I mention how much I love this cover?
