Candace Bushnell, the author of Sex and The City has written a prequel. It’s a YA (young adult) book about a teen Carrie Bradshaw called The Carrie Diaries (April 2010). I was reading about it at The Book Case Blog. Saw the cover and am not sure what I think about it. Here it is:
I like the colors but it kind of lacks a punch. Thoughts?

It reminds me of my book covers in high school…..But then, that was in the late 60s-early 70s….and hot colors along with crazy lettering was all the rage. Remember Laugh In???
It’s not a cover that appeal to me, but then I like (adult) romance novels. Hehehe.
by Mitzi Hinkey November 19th, 2009 at 12:52 amWell, I don’t know if it matters that I never watched nor care to, Sex and the City (probably not). . . but while it kind of looks a little strange, staring at it for a while, it does look younger, like teen writing maybe, so it’s not the best, but yeah, I think it does work for what it is.
